Wilder Kaiser Crossing

The Baumooskogel (1506m) is a grassy mountain with an impressive summit cross and the highest elevation of the Vorderen Kalkstein. Locals affectionately call it the "Baumooskegei". Muscle power is required to reach the summit, since the Kalkstein is one of the few mountains in the district that is not connected by cable car or roads. Lush pastures, traditional Alpine inns and legendary views let you experience nature in all its glory.
