‘You are the crown above an exceptionally beautiful nook in Tirol’, it was with these words that Fritz Schmitt once described the Koasa - as the Wilder Kaiser is called by local people - in his book ‘Das Buch vom Wilden Kaiser’.
This long distance hiking trail is dedicated to this ‘crown’ – the Koasa. On every stage you get to see a different perspective of the impressive Wilder Kaiser. And quite in passing, this multi day tour proceeds through that exceptionally beautiful corner of Tirol mentioned above. Individual tours have been set up in such as way that each route proceeds through a special natural site in our region.
A highlight awaits you every day, whether it is the Niederkaiser ridge, the picturesque Kaiserbach valley, the mysterious Teufelsgasse (Devil’s Lane), the well-known Griesbachklamm gorge or the Eifersbacher waterfall.
