Starting point for the tour is the Harschbichl mountain station (1604m), to where you are conveyed conveniently in the gondola lift. From here, keep heading south and then via a steep, exposed path through the rocky summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn to the Horngipfel (1990 m). Enjoy a pause for breath here, before heading to the summit. Having arrived at the summit, to the east of the summit the descent on the narrow ridge to Hoferschneid now begins. Continue to the Huberalm. When the route branches off to the Huberalm, keep left along the path, which takes you back to the Harschbichl mountain station.
