Tour information

From the village center, walk along Speckbacherstraße in the direction of Oberndorf. At the chapel Fixlerkapelle in Apfeldorf turn left to get on the path up to the alpine pastures. At the end of the residential road, the hiking trail branches off to the right. The path winds up through the forest and finally ends at the alpine inn Hirschberg. From now on, follow the signs to Bassgeiger Alm and Müllneralm. Through the forest you walk past a small stream and after a few minutes you reach the beautifully situated Bassgeiger Alm. Via a forest path you continue to the Müllneralm. From there, the path leads moderately uphill to the mountain lake Angereralmsee. At the lake you can watch the climbers in the high ropes course Hornpark, and probably one or the other mountaincart will whiz by. The hike now descends leisurely to lake Schlosserbergsee and a beautiful view of the Wilder Kaiser. In a few minutes walk you will reach the Pointenhof and its 3-D archery course. Now follow the road for a short distance until Buchwies. Here you hike downhill on a trail through the forest to the playground Hilscherpark and the valley station of the gondola Harschbichlbahn.
