Kleine Salve Sommer

The Kleine Salve

INCREDIBLY panoramic in the Holiday Region Hohe Salve

Situated at 1,565 m above sea level, the Kleine Salve is directly below its famous big sister, the Hohe Salve (1,829 m). But the Kleine Salve also has a lot to offer. With its fantastic 360° panorama, you can view the side valleys of the nearby Brixen Valley, as well as the imposing Wilder Kaiser. Directly below the summit of the Kleine Salve is a crystal-clear reservoir with the same name, which invites you to regenerate and rest under the open mountain sky. The Itter Salvistabahn gondola lift takes you quickly and comfortably to the summit of the Kleine Salve. Once you arrive at the relaxation plateau, sun loungers invite you to unwind. The plateau is already a popular photo point, thanks to the oversized hiking poles that adorn the Kleine Salve.
Also at the middle station of the Salvistabahn Itter (boarding and alighting point), the mountain inn Berghotel KRAFTalm presents itself in a completely new style. What has remained: the excellent cuisine and the exquisite hospitality!
By the way: the name "Salve" comes from Latin and means greeting. And that's exactly how it is. Already from afar it seems the Kleine Salve and its big sister greet in all directions.
