With the cable car up to the Hohe Salve

In just 20 minutes you’ll cover more than 1,200 m elevation gain with the Salvenbahn I and II. Completely without any muscle power and with a captivating panorama. You can also reach the sunny plateau of the Kleine Salve at 1,565 m within 10 minutes with the Salvistagondelbahn in Itter. True to the motto gondola ride, start hiking and enjoy, the cable cars are also often used as partial support for the ascent. Many moderate hikes only start in the area of the middle station of the two mountain railways and the way back can also be easily shortened with the gondola lift.
