Sunrise hike to the KRAFTalm

Early in the morning, the hike starts through the idyllic forests and meadows of Itter to the middle station of the Kleine Salve. At the pilgrimage chapel, you will experience the sunrise. After the hike you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or a hot coffee with the best view at the KRAFTalm.
For the return trip to the valley, you can either comfortably take the Salvistabahn or walk back on your own. Upon request, the hike can also be offered as a sunset hike.

Meeting place: Salvistabahn Itter, Alte Bundesstraße 1, 6305 Itter
Registration: until Tuesday 4 p.m., online or in the tourist information offices of the Region Hohe Salve
Costs with/without Kitzbüheler Alpen guest card: free (excl. gondola ticket for the return trip and breakfast)
Equipment: sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient fluids and sun protection, snack, headlamp and a seating pad
Duration: approx. 6 hours
Participants: min. 2 to max. 10
Note: the hiking trail to KRAFTalm is about 6 km and has slightly more than 700 m in elevation gain, only takes place in good weather.
          Can also be arranged as a sunset hike upon request
