The Witches' Water is located at 1,150 metres in Hochsöll, at the foot of Hohe Salve. In times past, two extraordinary sisters are said to have been living there. These sisters were called witches because of their exceptional knowledge of herbalism. The Saukogel witch lived on Saukogel Mountain by the Hohe Salve and the Juffinger witch on Paisselberg Mountain. There they lived an unusual life, which caused a great stir. Time and again, the witches also caused very strange events. But many years have now passed and the witches are no longer alive. But the Witches' Water still gushes from Hohe Salve across Hochsöll down into the valley. In the mountain adventure world Witches' Water, you can discover the witches’ traces in many places and get to know more about their special way of life. The Witches' Water-Team is on hand at the various stations to tell you more about the legend of the two sisters. The mountain adventure world can also be well visited on days with bad weather.
