Excursion destinations can also be reached quickly and easily at any time. A wide range of public transport within the region is included in the Kitzbüheler Alpen Card. In order to use local trains and buses, you need one of the four Kitzbüheler Alpen Guest Cards (Hohe Salve, Brixental Valley, St. Johann in Tirol or PillerseeTal), which you will receive from your host. The Kitzbüheler Alpen Guest Card from one of the four regions Holiday Region Hohe Salve, Brixental Valley, St. Johann in Tirol region and PillerseeTal) is your personal advantage card. Along with appealing discounts for excursion destinations, cable car tickets and family offers, there are local public transport deals.
Worth knowing:
train and bus tickets are free with this card. The Guest Card acts as your travel ticket on all regional bus and train connections in the holiday region.
You can receive the card for free from your accommodation provider upon arrival.

Getting around with the train & bus
With the train and the bus you will reach your destinations in full comfort. The Kitzbüheler Alpen Card can be used as a travel ticket on public transport in the region. All local trains between Wörgl and Hochfilzen are free with the personal advantage card (excluding IC, EC and Railjet). In every region you will find bus lines on which the particular Guest Card is valid.
Public transport is also well suited for longer day trips and short town/city trips. You can therefore travel sustainably, quickly and comfortably right through Tirol.
Good to know:
The Tiroler Verkehrsverbund provides a 2Plus day ticket special offer. For just € 34- one or two adults with up to three children under 15 can use public transport for a full day in the whole of Tirol.

If you find a taxi company in the resort you are located in, you shouldn't have long to wait.
