Tour information

The start of this hike is the Zwieselbrücke toll station in Kelchsau. Passing the wooden bridge, you hike into the Kurzen Grund. Always following the slightly ascending path, you reach a reservoir and shortly after the traditional Niederkaseralm. Continue along the path to the destination of the hike, the Wegscheid inn.
You return to the starting point via the same path.

Getting there From Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - feeder road B178 direction St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel - after the tunnel exit direction Hopfgarten - at the roundabout take the B170 direction Hopfgarten - right under the underpass over the bridge direction Kelchsau - into the valley on L205 Kelchsauer Straße approx. 10 km to the toll station (car toll EUR 5,-).
From Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße direction Wörgl - in Hopfgarten before the second railway underpass turn left over bridge direction Kelchsau - approx. 10 km to toll station (car toll EUR 5,-)
Public transport bus: Steinerbrücke" in Kelchsau
