WE is more than just a word. It’s an attitude, a vision, and the key to an exciting life in the PillerseeTal.
That’s why the initiative “WE. Employees for Employees“ was launched, where employees from various businesses and the tourism association collaborate to support fellow employees in finding a place to thrive here in the PillerseeTal.
Member services
Habitat PillerseeTal
In addition to the practical preparation of materials to sensitise and raise awareness for a sustainable approach, TVB PillerseeTal offers its member businesses and partners all kinds of additional services and assistance in the living environment. For example, further education and training programmes are offered as part of the Landlord Academy. In addition, modern technologies are used that offer added value for landlords and guests - such as the digital receptionist. Process support for business certification with the Austrian Ecolabel is another important initiative that is coordinated, offered and financially supported by the tourism association.

Austrian Ecolabel
Process support for certification
The Austrian Ecolabel is an independent seal of quality for the environment and quality. The label is awarded to businesses that make a special effort to achieve sustainability. Products and services from various sectors are currently certified - including the hotel and catering industry. Anyone wishing to receive the eco-label from the Republic of Austria must fulfil the guidelines. These are drawn up by a committee of environmental experts and revised every four years.
Our currently awarded companies
Recently, regions have also been able to be awarded the eco-label. The PillerseeTal TVB is aiming for certification as an eco-labelled destination in the medium term. As part of this, certification is also to take place at business level. Fortunately, some businesses are already at the start of the certification process. The tourism association supports interested businesses by covering the costs of the one-off application fee (depending on the size of the business and the number of overnight stays). In addition, businesses incur the one-off costs for process support (this is subsidised by the province of Tyrol by 50-80%) as well as annual label usage fees (depending on the size of the business and the number of overnight stays).
