Das Weitblick - RESTAURANT

The Buchensteinwand is also known as the most beautiful panoramic mountain in the PillerseeTal, and rightly so: the Loferer und Leoganger Steinberge seem close enough to touch, the Wilder Kaiser radiates in all its glory and the snowcapped peaks of the Großglockner shine in the distance. The summit of the Buchensteinwand can be hiked to from three different sides: from Fieberbrunn via the Tennalm, from Hochfilzen via the Hoametzl Alm and from the valley station of the Bergbahn Pillersee in St. Ulrich am Pillersee. The Jakobskreuz, the largest accessible summit cross in the world, is visible even from the valley below and boasts a 360° view at the top, that you won't be able to easily forget, as a treat for conquering the summit.
