Circular walk Buchensteinwand

Starting point is the village center of St. Jakob in Haus. Walk along the main road towards Bergbahn Pillersee (chairlift Buchensteinwand). At the B&B Pension Elisabeth turn right, pass the soccer field and walk left to the chairlift Buchensteinwand. Pass it and continue to the hamlet Flecken. After this hamlet turn right towards lake Wiesensee and Hochfilzen. At the farm house Glaagut turn right and after the bridge left towards Fieberbrunn / Pfaffenschwendt. Via the hamlets Buchau and Schönau-Pertrach to Vornbichl / Fieberbrunn. From there upwards to Hochegg, down to Kühle Klause and along the circle trail to the centre of St. Jakob i.H..
