Palfenweg / IVV Hiking path

Starting from the parking lot Barbara Chapel, walk past the command building (TÜPL Hochfilzen). At the first turn-off, turn left and walk uphill along the forest road. 200 m after the alpine hut you come to a fork in the path.
Here you have the possibility to take a shortcut: follow the signpost downhill. Over meadow and forest paths you will reach the Liedlgraben. From here follow the forest path along the stream. At the bridge turn left through the Warmingerstraße back to the starting point.

The Palfenweg (= IVV hiking trail for Hochfilzen) continues after the alpine pasture up along the ridge of the Warmingerberg and then left down to the Liedlgraben. From here on the Warmingerstraße, turn left, pass the Tour Rast stop and return to the starting point.
