From the Streuböden middle station, the trail leads gently uphill on a wide, easily accessible gravel path. After about 15 minutes you reach the Wildalpgatterl mountain inn with its fallow deer enclosure. This is where the Jägersteig begins, a well-maintained, gravel path through a shady beech forest with some nice resting places, which leads to the Lärchfilzhochalm. Due to the low gradient, this hike is also an ideal excursion for less experienced hikers and families with smaller children. If the pram has somewhat larger, good rubber tyres, the route is also passable with it (no buggies). Return via the same route.
TIPS for families:
Discover Timok's Wild World directly at the Streuböden middle station.
approx. 50 m above the middle station on the edge of the path at the Steinbergkönig station, where you can puzzle your way around
