Tour information
The starting point for this hike is the car park opposite the former Hofstattban in Kelchsau. Cross the bridge there and follow the signs no. 3 into the valley. You can admire the surrounding mountains along the Kelchsauer Ache. After the next bridge, hike through the charming little village of Kelchsau and walk along the edge of the forest back to the starting point. If you like, you can make a small detour to the charming center of Kelchsau.

- Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - feeder road B178 towards St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel - after the tunnel exit towards Hopfgarten - at the roundabout take the B170 towards Hopfgarten - turn right under the subway and cross the bridge towards Kelchsau - continue into the valley on L205 Kelchsauer Straße for approx. 7 km.
Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße towards Wörgl - in Hopfgarten before the second railway subway turn left over bridge towards Kelchsau - continue into the valley on L205 Kelchsauer Straße for approx. 7 km. - bus: from Hopfgarten to Kelchsau Hofstattbahn
