Hahnenkamm race

Quite possibly the best known ski racing courses in the world are the Streif run and the Ganslern slope. Since 1967 the FIS Ski World Cup race has taken place every year in Kitzbühel on the Hahnenkamm. The Hahnenkamm race is the annual highlight of the Ski World Cup and the biggest sporting festival in Austria. The numerous side events, the fan zone in the historic town centre as well as the winners' ceremonies in the evenings are all part of the Hahnenkamm race.
