Around the Unterberg

The tour starts at the Kirchdorf information office. Along the Dorfstraße
to the Achenkapelle chapel and then next to the Großache river
to Erpfendorf. Now and then the path leads you through
meadows and forest areas. After the underpass at Haagertal
the bike path goes through the forest until you reach the valley station of the Kössener
mountain railroads. From here the tour runs on
side roads with little car traffic to Unterschwendt. Now
change to the Kössener Straße (main road) until shortly after the center of Schwendt.

right (still behind the farmhouse) and then immediately left to get on the
the cycle path. This leads a piece along the Kohlenbach,
past a private fish pond, to Griesenau near Kirchdorf.
Here you follow the country road again to Gasteig. Over the
Stauseebichl you cycle down to the center of Kirchdorf.
