A pre-Christmas period full of atmosphere in Oberndorf in Tirol!
On 12 and 13 December this year the Oberndorf Advent is taking place. Immerse yourself into the festive ambience, surrounded by Christmas music, sparkling lights and Christmas treats! On both Advent Days, visitors can experience plenty of Christmas vibes along the Advent Trail.

From the parking lot at Penzinghof in Oberndorf a coach will take guests to Hoferbauer farm along the Old Roman Way. From here, continue on foot along the Advent Trail. All the way to Wölzerkapelle Chapel you can experience Advent & Christmas vibes by and with the Oberndorf clubs and associations.
Christmas carols, readings, brass music and a live nativity scene. plus traditional carolers get you in the mood for the Christmas season. Torches light up the evening. In fire bowls, incense blends made from ancient recipes are burnt with herbs and resin. From Wölzerkapelle Chapel the trail leads back to Hoferbauer farm again, where everyone meets up and delicious treats, handmade gifts and warm drinks are available.
On Friday 12 December, the Oberndorf Advent invites everyone to attend the festive opening at 16:00. The festive ambience will continue until 22:00. On Saturday 13 December the Advent Trail will open its gates already at 16:00. At 20:00 there will be a lucky draw, and at 22:00 the Oberndorf Advent will close its gates.
