Bungalow Baloo is situated close to the centre of town in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The main lift, the “Harschbichl“ cable car is only a 5 minute walk away and takes you into the main Ski area. Cross-country Skiing, Sommer walking, cycling and climbing areas are all easily accessible.

St. Johann’s “Panorama” swimming pool with sauna, wellness, restaurant, tennis and ice skating is also only a 5 minute walk away.

Your host

Welcome, my name is Simon and I was born and raised in North Wales in the UK.

In the 1980’s I set off traveling around the world and spent many a winter in St. Johann. In the 90’s I started to stay here for longer periods before settling permanently.

My favourite mode of transport is my motorbike and I enjoys cross country and downhill skiing, walks, cycling, books, music, and films.

The last of which led me to form the “English Language Film society” (ELFs) who show films in their original version with subtitles once a month in the local cinema. ELFs also organise the “Sound & Vision” music film festival every October.

I will gladly give you tips about the local area, restaurants and of course motorcycle tours (including GPX files)

Bungalow Baloo has a large carport with enough space for 2 cars. On the south facing side is a covered terrace facing the garden and the Kitzbüheler Horn Mountain. The spacious holiday home has been renovated and has a kitchen with dining area, 2 bedrooms (1 large with double bed and 1 small bunk-bed room), a bathroom with shower and washing machine and a separate WC. The comfortable living room has direct access to the garden and terrace.

Bed linen, towels, hairdryer, Sat TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, ski boot dryer, lockable ski storage and Carport for 2 cars are all included. A basic collection of spices and a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar, rice and pasta all make settling in that much easier. A little Welcome Gift will be waiting on your arrival.

1 set of bed linen and 1 set of towels per person is supplied for your stay. Should you wish a fresh set during your stay we offer this for a charge of €12 per set.

Directions: from St. Johann centre follow the “Speckbacherstraße” road towards the main lift “Bergbahn”. After the railway crossing turn right before “Rogis Bar” onto the "Prantlstrasse” road. After the garages keep to the left street until the end – Bungalow Baloo is on the right side.
