Where tranquility in the mountains is home
Gertraud and Klemens Sieberer run a farm in the Hohe Salve holiday region. They have lovingly renovated the farmhouse that has been in the family for 300 years.
Read moreGertraud and Klemens Sieberer live with their two children, Sarah and Josef, on an organic farm in the Hohe Salve holiday region. Together the four of them enjoy the peaceful mountain life in the Kitzbüheler Alpen with their immense wealth of natural treasures. Besides running the farm, Gertraud works as an accountant and Klemens as a carpenter and joiner.
Gertraud first had to travel to Scotland to discover the deep longing for her native home. After that, to see the Wilder Kaiser and the fertile green of the gentle grassy mountains, to breathe in the fresh mountain air - all this confirms to her again and again that she belongs exactly where she is at home today.
Both Gertraud and Klemens grew up on a farm. Both experienced a fulfilled childhood, which they now want to provide for their own children too, above all, the feeling of living in the rhythm of the seasons and in harmony with nature.
When it comes to daily activities on the farm, the children are involved almost everywhere. They enjoy helping out in a playful way. For the parents, leisure time and work flow harmoniously into one another.
The heart of the farm is the old, recently renovated farmhouse, which has been in Klemens' family for almost 300 years. Inside there's an apartment which the Sieberers rent out to guests. What do the holidaymakers appreciate most there? The silence and the good, clean air.
This could be the motto for the Sieberer family's organic business. The cows mainly produce milk, but more and more meat is also sold. People from the surrounding area want to know where their food comes from. Gertraud and Klemens themselves buy almost exclusively products from the region.
At the weekend or in Summer, when the harvest is finished, the Sieberer family likes to take it easy. A barbecue in front of the house, sunbathing on the balcony, here and there an excursion in the Kitzbüheler Alpen region ... for Sarah and Josef, every free minute means going out the front door and conquering nature's playground!
Gertraud herself likes to draw strength from hiking and mountain walking. In doing so, she takes speed out of everyday life and finds her inner strength in the quiet. As a mother, she is grateful for the high quality leisure activities for the whole family in the Hohe Salve holiday region.

checkWhat are our emotional connections to the Kitzbüheler Alpen and why ... I (Gertraud) grew up here and live here with my family. Also, our love of nature binds us emotionally to our beautiful native home.
When walking uphill, the pace of everyday life automatically slows down, everything becomes quiet, I am more with myself again, I see everything from a different perspective.
