Kalkstein Loop

Leave St. Johann in Tirol in the direction of the sport airfield. Continue via Reitham to the hamlet of Winkl and through hilly terrain on to Fieberbrunn. Ride via Obwall to the center of St. Jakob in Haus where you switch to the other side of the valley. Ride past the lift station of Jacob’s Cross and continue to beautiful lake Pillersee. In St. Adolari, which is home to a pretty little pilgrimage church, continue along the cycling path to scenic Öfenschlucht gorge, an exceptional natural attraction thanks to its unique stone formations. In the center of Waidring, pick up the cycling path towards Erpfendorf where you continue along Großache River past Kirchdorf to St. Johann in Tirol.
