Incense rituals to mark the blocking nights with Sonja Schwaiger!

The cold, clear winter air brings with it the magic of the ‘Sperrnächte’ . These special nights have always been valued as a time for reflection and retreat. The ‘Sperrnächte’ (barrier nights) mean that the connection between people and nature is particularly strong on these days. We don't want to give too much away in advance, just this much: our herb fairy Sonja will tell us about the good fortune of the ‘Sperrnächte’ and the perfect opportunity to pause and reflect on the past year.

We will start the evening with a traditional smoking ritual under a hopefully starry sky at the barbecue area. The soothing smoke and scent of herbs and resins will accompany us as we send our wishes and thoughts into the wintry night. After the contemplative ritual, we will retire to the toboggan hut for a cosy chat. Hot punch and Christmas delicacies will round off the wintry night-time bliss.

Requirements: Easy, short evening hike; good footwear and warm ski or winter hiking clothing; possibly hiking poles and headlamp;

Meeting point: Kaminstube car park, Gut Kramerhof, Schwendter Straße, Kirchdorf in Tirol
