Herb Experience at Summer Solstice with our Herb Fairy Sonja
The summer solstice is one of the most powerful days of the year, when the sun reaches its highest point and nature shines in full bloom. People have always gathered on this special day, dancing, laughing, and celebrating the abundance of life. It is a time of thanks for the upcoming harvest and a moment to pause and connect with the energy of nature. We will learn from herb expert Sonja about the origins of ancient customs and why certain plants and herbs play such a significant role during this time. She will guide us through the history and rituals on this magical evening. The event takes place in the Glückskräutergarten at the historic Metzgerhaus. Surrounded by the beauty of the garden, a fire bowl will be lit to honor the sun and harness the power of fire.
The event will only take place in good weather. If it rains heavily, we reserve the right to postpone the event to another day or cancel it.
Cost: free with guest cards from the regions of St. Johann in Tirol, Pillerseetal, Brixental, and Hohe Salve (€10 without guest card). Cash payment directly at the event.
