Are you on the look-out for biking equipment or a rental bike? There are numerous shops in the Kitzbühel Alps providing biking equipment and rental stations. Be it mountain bike or road bike, the expert shop assistants will be happy to help you. Here you will find an overview of all the shops.
Have you got a puncture, are already on the road and it's after the bike shop's opening hours? No problem! In the region you will find some self-service machines selling bicycle inner tubes. Simply get a new inner tube from the vending machine. The inner tube is in the usual cardboard packaging.
Bike transport with the mountain lifts
Do you prefer to use lifts to assist you on your ascents? In the Kitzbühel Alps, eight gondolas and chair lifts are at your disposal for unlimited trail fun. The lifts take you to the eight single trails in the region. With the Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail Card you can purchase a bike ticket for all eight trails and lifts for 1, 2 or 3 days.
If you love your mountain bike, you wash it! You will find numerous bike washing stations in the region. You can get your bike back in shape at various petrol stations or at the mountain lift valley stations.
Above you will find a list of all locations where the vending machines for bicycle inner tubes are located. In the tube vending machines you will find all common tubes from 26" up to 27.5" and 29" for mountain bikes and touring bikes.
In general, all participating mountain lifts of the Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail Card transport bicycles. For reasons of weight, some mountain lifts have restrictions on transport. E-bikes are only transported when the batteries have been removed.
