Natural Swimming Lake Pillersee

The eponymous Pillersee is the emerald-green heart of the valley. Refreshingly cold in summer, it entices bathers in on hot days. However, the water temperatures rarely rise above 19° Celcius on summer days. The lake is best discovered by taking a trip in one of the countless (pedal)boats, that you can rent from the lakeside restaurant Blattl and at the Forellenranch. For a little snack between meals, you can grab something to eat from the lakeside kiosk. Our little holiday guests at the children's play area are well catered for here. At the entrance to the Pillersee, a Kneipp facility with wooden benches and sun loungers awaits - you can really relax and enjoy your holiday here!
