Fascinating fishing and fly-fishing in PillerseeTal
Pure relaxation and a wonderful natural experience can be had when fishing in PillerseeTal. Experience the fascination of fishing in a wonderful natural landscape at Pillersee in St. Ulrich am Pillersee or at Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn. Fishing at Pillersee
The fishing El Dorado in PillerseeTal is located in the heart of the valley, directly by Pillersee. The crystal-clear water in the lake - rarely exceeding 20 degrees - is fed by several mountain streams from the Loferer Steinberge, thus providing ideal conditions for the fish population. Pillersee is known among anglers above all by its abundance of trout and you can tuck into some Pillersee-trout in Gasthof Adolari Inn. But not only trout can be fished, brook trout, carp and minnow are also found in the cool waters. Fly-fishers can be sure to get their money’s worth here in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, with relevant courses also on offer.

Fishing at Lauchsee
Small but excellent is the fishing area at Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn. As in summer the lake also serves guests as a swimming lake, fishing is only allowed on the south bank and at night during the swimming season, which, however, in no way diminishes the fishing fun. The fish population in the lake is notable: Carp, tench, pikeperch, pike, sturgeon, bass, bitterling, whiting and even eel are abundant in the warm water containing moor.
