Bacon dumplings

Delicacies from the Tyrolean mountains

Enjoy a ‘delicacy from the mountains’ every day and conjure up some holiday memories on your table. We have selected seven different favourite dishes for you and hope you enjoy cooking and, above all, savouring them. Good luck!

Ingredients:

  • check250 g dumpling bread

  • check100 g Tyrolean bacon

  • check125 ml milk

  • check2 eggs

  • checkSalt

  • checknutmeg

  • check1 table spoon of chopped parsley

  • check40 g flour

  • check1,5 l beef soup

  • checkChopped chives to garnish

Preparation

Mix the dumpling bread with the small diced bacon. Add together milk, eggs, salt, nutmeg, parsley and season. Poor this mix to the dumpling bread. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Now mix in the flour and form little dumplings with wet hands. Boil in salty water for 10 – 15 minutes. Serve the dumplings with beef soup and garnish with chives.
