A new attraction for the little ones adorns the most beautiful panoramic mountain in Tyrol. At the summit of the Hohe Salve, the playground on the mountain, Salvis Kraxxl Platzl, was opened at 1,829 m in summer 2020. Fun and games for young and old mountaineers are the focus here. With the whole family, you can easily use the Salvenbahn I and II in Hopfgarten to ride up to the Hohe Salve. Of course, the panoramic mountain also trumps with family-friendly hikes. For families who enjoy hiking, we recommend ascents from the middle station or the sun trail at the summit of the Hohe Salve, which offers the best 360° panorama over 70 three-thousand-metre peaks.
If you and your little ones need a break from the climbing or balance equipment, you can enjoy the best Tyrolean cuisine at the Hohe Salve summit restaurant. The Gipfelalm Hohe Salve is located right next to Salvi's Kraxxl Platzl. It impresses with its revolving terrace and "Umadum" parlour, which offer fantastic panoramic views of seventy three-thousand-metre peaks.
