Tour information

The starting point can be either the Dofplatz in Itter or Gries (a hamlet of Hopfgarten). In both directions, follow trail no. 72, the route of the old toboggan run, through the forest.
In Itter you can continue on to other hikes.

Getting there Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - feeder road B178 towards St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel - after the tunnel stay on the B178 for approx. 3km (drive under the roundabout) - follow Luechstraße onto Loferer Straße - at the major junction (left industrial estate Itter) turn right onto Itterer Straße - after a slight ascent you will reach your destination after approx. 1.5km

Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße towards Wörgl - drive through Hopfgarten until shortly before leaving the town (Hopfgarten railway station) - approx. 100m after Hopfgarten railway station follow the signs to Itter on the right - up the mountain on Itterer Straße for approx. 2km until you reach your destination.
