Event DescriptionThe BOARDAIRRACE Hike & Fly challenges participants to compete in a test of endurance, skill, and courage. Athletes must first tackle a designated mountain path on foot to reach the summit. Then, they take off from a secured launch zone and fly back down to the valley with their paraglider. The combination of physical exertion during the ascent and technical precision during the flight makes this event truly special.
The competition starts on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the launch site of the Westendorf Paragliding School and ends on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at around 5:00 PM, followed by an awards ceremony.
