Europe's largest youth football tournament in the Kitzbühel Alps

Every year, talented young footballers from all over the world gather to take part in this prestigious event in the Kitzbühel Alps. The Cordial Cup not only offers exciting competition on the pitch, but also a unique opportunity for players, coaches and fans to network, make friends and experience the beauty of the Tyrolean landscape. More than 3,000 boys and girls from 20 participating countries will show off their footballing skills. There will also be a suitable supporting programme for the spectators.

Cordial Cup Highlights 2024

With 120 participating teams, the Cordial Cup is one of the largest youth football tournaments in Europe - here is a summary of the highlights from the 2024 tournament. The game is played at 13 sports facilities in six tourist regions in the Kitzbühel Alps and the Wilder Kaiser.

Around 650 matches in 13 venues across 6 regions

In addition to St. Johann, around 650 matches will be played from 17th to 20th May 2023 on 12 football pitches in the regions Wilder Kaiser, Kitzbühel Tourismus, Kitzbühel Alps - St. Johann in Tirol, Kitzbühel Alps-Brixental and Kitzbühel Alps-Holiday Region Hohe Salve.

The Cordial Cup is not just a successful project for athletes, but also from the point of view of tourism: Over 6,000 visitors fill the beds of approximately 95 hotels in the region. In the run up to the event, 35 qualification tournaments have already taken place across six countries. These will already start taking place again at the end of summer. Every year around 750 teams want to qualify for the Mega Event of youth football, which is held in Tirol.
