In winter, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn as one of the largest and most varied ski areas in Austria hardly leaves anyone cold. With 270 km of downhill runs, 70 cable cars and lifts and more than 60 lodges, the 'Home of Lässig' has plenty to offer.

MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE WITH A VIEW

The Schmitten is an ideal destination for families and highflyers. In the varied winter paradise, the Trass slope with more than 4 km length and 70% gradient, the Funslope, the Kids' slope and the Dragons Park all provide the proper action. All year round, the Zell local mountain offers perfect conditions for all paragliders thanks to its favourable updraught, making it one of the most sought-after flying hotspots in Austria.

THE GLACIER

State-of-the-art cable cars lead up to the panoramic platform TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 metres: Here are fabulous views open up of Austria’s highest peaks and into Hohe Tauern National Park. As early as October, glacier slopes with reliable snow conditions, freeride routes near the lifts, snowparks and ski touring routes are waiting on winter sports fans. Since December 2019, it is now possible for the first time to get by cable car from Kaprun town directly into the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area with the new 3K K-ONNECTION.
