The PillerseeTal has three ski areas waiting for holiday guests right in front of their hotel doors. From easy family slopes, to enjoyable firn descents to powder-rich deep-snow slopes - the piste offer is varied and is the perfect starting point for your ski holiday in the region.
The Steinplatte ski area in Waidring has a variety of pistes and a panoramic view of the Wilder Kaiser all the way to the Chiemsee! Passionate skiers also have the chance to make use of the piste offer all the way to Reit im Winkl.
Families and beginner skiers are given a warm welcome in the Buchensteinwand ski area. The ski area is easily recognisable from a long distance by the 30-metre-high Jakobskreuz on the summit. Its leisurely family descents and the Pletzibär-Park at the valley station are extremely popular amongst families with children. And advanced skiers are also well catered for here.
Passionate and athletic skiers get their moneys worth in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn! There are 270 kilometres of slopes and 70 cable cars and lifts on offer for winter guests in the ski area.
