Almost every day, Patrick Ager swops his apron for sports gear. The open-minded landlord from the Kitzbüheler Alpen uses his free-time to recharge his batteries on mountain-bike tours. As a landlord and chef, the quality and regionality of food products is as important to him as the personal care of his guests.

Love of home. Patrick spent many seasons ski instructing in Canada and Australia. However, his heart drew him back to his home, the Hohe Salve Holiday Region, again and again.

Satisfaction & summit happiness

The best part of mountain biking for Patrick is the feeling of satisfaction when he reaches the summit - to arrive at the top, knowing that he has reached his goal because he simply can’t go any higher. For him, he has reached the maximum. His advice for others: it doesn’t always have to be faster, better or higher. Simply being satisfied with what you have makes you much happier.

Patrick’s recommendation: THE experience for bike fans in the Kitzbüheler Alpen is the KAT Bike, the Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail for mountain bikers - a safe, well-planned adventure on well-marked trails. Just the thing for all bikers who want nothing to worry about except mountain biking itself and the magnificent nature surrounding them.
