As the saying goes: "All you need for happiness is a good horse" - this happiness can be experienced by explorers young and old in the mountain adventure world Astberg Pony Alm in the Kitzbühel Alps. 20 small, good-natured ponies live there by Astbergsee Lake on the newly designed pony farm. Together with the pony-pros and their parents, children can explore Astberg mountain on horseback and enjoy fabulous panoramic views to boot. The well-being of the animals, as well as learning responsible handling of the horses, takes centre stage here. A walk around Astbergsee Lake and the thrilling chairlift trip perfectly top off the experience on the Pony Alm.
The Astberg Pony Alm is located at 1,300 metres on Astberg Mountain in Going. With the Astbergbahn, a 4-seat chairlift, you can easily get to the mountain adventure world from Going. The trip on the chairlift in summer is a true experience. Take a look at the massif of the Wilder Kaiser and marvel at the alpine world beneath your feet. The pony treks set off every day during the high season. In rainy weather, however, the ponies take a day off in their cosy stables. In addition to the sweet ponies, the petting zoo and beautiful Astbergsee Lake are also a true experience and especially worth seeing. Since August there are also two foals. Nero and MaLu are already looking forward to many visitors at the Astberg. Tip: With the Kitzbühel Alps Summer Card you can also use the Astberglift.
