Cross-country ski trails in Angerberg and Mariastein
The holiday resorts of Angerberg and Mariastein together form a certified cross-country skiing centre. The places have even been awarded the Tyrolean cross-country ski trail seal of approval for several years. Great trails of various difficulty levels are waiting there for everyone who wants to really enjoy this sport. The floodlit training trail Angerberg offers perfect conditions for cross-country training at day and night. Thanks to the connecting trail, a large, contiguous cross-country Eldorado opens up, which can be skied both with classic as well as skating technique.
Trails in Wörgl
Wörgl, the city that never sleeps - at least when it comes to the cross-country trails. The place also has a lot to offer when it comes to nature and sporting activities. With the night & training trail Wörgl cross-country lovers will find a top trail for skating and classic cross-country skiing. The 1,1 km long training trail is illuminated daily until 9 p.m. So all night owls get their money's worth. The trail is also classified as easy and is also suitable for beginners.
Trails in Hopfgarten
The town of Hopfgarten offers its cross-country guests a trail with a wonderful view of the snow-covered panoramic mountain Hohe Salve. The Penningberg trail counts among the medium-difficult trails and is located directly on the sunny plateau of Hopfgarten, on Penningberg. This trail is suitable for classic cross-country skiing and skating.
Trails in Itter
The small village of Itter on the sunny terrace at the entrance to Brixental also has a great cross-country ski trail to offer. The Itter trail starts directly in the village centre and can be continued for as far as you want. The circuit through the village is also perfect for beginners, thanks to the beautiful location and the low elevation gain. Tip for all kilometre-accumulators: At the end of the Itter trail starts the Söll trail. That means: with the Itter trail you have a direct link to the network of cross-country ski trails of the tourism region Wilder Kaiser.
Trails in the Kelchsau
The Kelchsau is a true hiking paradise in summer. In winter, the mountain scenery takes on a snowy frock, delighting all winter sports fans. The cross-country ski trail in the Kelchsau is an easy trail, on which you can ski a beautiful 6-km long circuit in the valley. In the Kelchsau you’ll come upon rustic farms and can enjoy the view of the high, snow-covered mountains from afar. Exploring the winter scenery on cross-country skis is balm for the soul, while also providing good exercise.
