On Saturday, 8 March 2025, the 2nd Retro Ski Day will take place in the Region Hohe Salve and in the SkiWelt Hopfgarten-Itter ski area in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental! Immerse yourself in a journey through time on the snow-covered pistes, surrounded by picturesque Alpine landscape and enjoy a hint of nostalgia. This event, presented by Region Hohe Salve tourist association and SkiWelt Hopfgarten-Itter, promises an unforgettable day full of fun, music and retro charm. checkHow it works: The average of the fastest and slowest times is taken (3 participants). Start numbers issued at the start area just before the race is due to begin. The squad which gets closest to the average time will win the main prize. And of course the fastest and the slowest of the day will receive prizes.

Direct bus link between: Hopfgarten – Itter & Kelchsau
After Itter, you can get to the valley station conveniently by bus and by bus or train to Hopfgarten.
The stops are (almost) direct at both valley stations in Hopfgarten and Itter.
An additional extra: You can use the bus and train connections in the region free of charge with your guest card.
