The 11 rooms are clean and cozy and reflect the charm of the place and tradition. The picturesque town of Kelchsau is located in a side valley of the Brixental, embedded in the Kitzbühler Alps. The beautiful, old inn, which dates back to the 14th century. was first mentioned in history, is surrounded by lovingly maintained houses and has been in use since the 18th century. run as a traditional inn.

The renovation in 2022 will make the Fuchswirt shine in new splendor.

Region Hohe Salve

The region Hohe Salve in the Kitzbüheler Alpen hosts one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, where skiing holidays in winter are packed with fun and action. In summer, the hiking area in and around Hopfgarten im Brixental extends from the Adlerweg trail on Buchacker mountain via the adventure mountain Hohe Salve to the Torhelm, the highest peak in the Kitzbüheler Alpen. Be it spring, summer, autumn or winter – in the Kitzbüheler Alpen you find boundless possibilities for leisure time activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing, winter rambling, cycling, hiking, swimming, and many others.
