With half marathon, relay and Tyrol mountain marathon championship in Region Hohe Salve
Welcome to the site for Salventrail mountain marathon in Itter, Region Hohe Salve, a challenging trail running event, which stands out thanks to its picturesque scenery and challenging route. The event is set to take place on 19th May 2024 in Itter in Tyrol and offers two exciting competitions: the 42 kilometre run and the 21 kilometre run. In the 42 kilometre trail run there is also the option to enter as a relay of 4.

* The Kraftalm can only be accessed with the Salvistabahn and is not accessible by car . Runners who are taking part in the Salventrail have the opportunity to travel free of charge in the Salvistabahn. All you have to do is show your start number. Spectators and trainers have the option to purchase travel tickets for the ascent and descent to the intermediate station at the Salvistabahn valley station pay desk. A free shuttle bus service is also available between Itter secondary school and Salvistabahn valley station.

Relay
At Salventrail in Itter there is the option of tackling the challenging 42 km route as part of a team of 4 . All the relay change-overs take place at the idyllic KRAFTalm. Only mixed relay teams are permitted, whereby there must be at least one woman in each team. For a team to tackle the race as a joint effort, there is also the option for one runner to complete more than just a single section of the route.
