Camping, tenting, overnight stays in camper vans, caravans and other mobile accommodation is allowed only on camping sites in Tirol. Outside of this, i.e. in the open countryside or on public places, camping is prohibited by law. Only bivouacking in high alpine terrain is permitted in emergencies.
