Tour information

From the information office, head towards Intersport Kienpointner. Walk straight ahead over the crossroads and along the road to the sharp left-hand bend (campsite). Turn right here into Schäferauweg. The Schäferau Chapel is located along the way and legend has it that a lost shepherd vowed to build a chapel in this meadow. The tour continues around the Mühlberg to the Schöttlweg. Keep right and follow the Grießelbach stream to the tennis court. Cross the bridge here and continue along the dam to Achenweg. Turn left and follow the L2 Pillerseestraße back to the starting point.

Getting there Coming from St. Johann i.T. or Lofer via the B178 to Waidring in the direction of the village centre. Coming from St. Johann, the municipal office is on the right side of the road opposite the Hotel Waidringerhof, coming from Lofer on the left side.
From Fieberbrunn via the L2 to Waidring. In the centre, turn left at the crossroads (Intersport Kienpointner) and continue straight ahead for approx. 200 m to the municipal office.
The Hausberg car park is directly behind the municipal office.
Public transport By bus: free bus service from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Bus stop Waidring Gemeindeamt. Free of charge with guest card.
Parking Car park Hausberg
