A diverse hike in absolute tranquility, passing several historical Alpine buildings and a mountain moor near the Hintenkarscharte, as well as a waterfall near the stage finish. You can't fail to spot the Alpine roses above the Scheibenschlag Alpine pasture. With dream views of the surrounding mountains, the giant icy peaks of the Hohe Tauern, and the striking peaks of the Großer Rettenstein right in front of you. The routes are mostly not too difficult, only the area on either side of the Hintenkarscharte is classified as medium difficulty. Due to the length of around 19 kilometers, you should have some stamina
Every day is a new challenge with the moment of reaching the top, the dream cotton grass and flower-filled meadows, the views of the peaks all around and the good dinners. Putting everyday worries behind and picking up a sweat. Those are the moments that you remember.

My Highlight was stage 3, when the view of the Großer Rettenstein opens up on the Hintenkarscharte.
