The fourth stage of the KAT Walk takes you in the tracks of the legendary Hahnenkamm ski race. You can sense the ski World Cup atmosphere: along the Streif ski run display boards point out well-known sections of the track like the Hausbergkante or Mausefalle (descents also can be made by cable car). The day finishes in the centre of the "most legendary" sporting town in the Alps: Kitzbühel!
At the Ehrenbachhöhe reservoir on KAT Walk Alpine stage 4 / Compact stage 3, the hikers have a totally unrestricted view of the Wilder Kaiser. Hikers on KAT Walk Alpine stage 4 / Compact stage 3 go past a herd of cows. The hikers head towards the Hahnenkammbahn cable car under dream weather on the KAT Walk Alpine stage 4 / Compact stage 3. The KAT Walkers get a feeling for the spectacular Hahnenkamm race at the Mausefalle. Hikers relax at Seidlalmsee on KAT Walk Alpine stage 4 / Compact stage 3 with the Wilder Kaiser in the background. Paragliders fly over the long-distance hikers on KAT Walk Alpine stage 4 / Compact stage 3. Before the long-distance hikers continue to the KAT Walk stage finish in Kitzbühel, they stock up on water.
Incredible nature, biodiversity, fantastic views, idyllic routes and a nice chance to "meet cows". And the flower garden!
