Tour information

The starting point for this bike tour is the P3 Wasserfeld car park in Hopfgarten. From there, follow signposting no. 298. After approx. 50m, turn right onto Penningbergstraße. Once you reach Penningberg, the asphalt road continues past the Hotel Leamwirt. Turn right into Flecklweg, which leads to the Fleckl farm. Continue following the signs for Markbachjochrunde (No.298) through the forest. The trail leads past the Markbachjochbahn mountain station. At the fork in the road, keep to the right and stay on trail no. 298 until you reach Penningdörfl again. You return to the starting point via the main road.

Getting there From Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - feeder road B178 towards St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel - after tunnel exit towards Hopfgarten - at roundabout take B170 towards Hopfgarten - in Hopfgarten through the underpass and right over bridge towards Kelchsau - car park is on right hand side on Kelchsauer Straße immediately after crossing.
From Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße direction Wörgl - in Hopfgarten before the second railway underpass turn left direction Kelchsau - cross the bridge - car park is on the right hand side at Kelchsauer Straße immediately after the crossroads.
