From Austria to the Hohe Salve region
With the Westbahn from Vienna to the region Hohe Salve
Since 11 December 2022, Austria's WESTbahn has been connecting the federal capital Vienna with Tyrol. We are pleased to announce that there will be 3 direct connections daily directly to the main station in Wörgl.
These connections to the Hohe Salve region can already be booked online for the savings price of EUR 18.99.
With the train, the Holiday Region Hohe Salve can be reached fast and easily on a daily basis - be it from Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Stuttgart or Munich. With the ICE at high speed to Munich and with one easy transfer continuing into the Kitzbühel Alps, e.g. to Wörgl.

The ÖBB Nightjet takes you comfortably overnight from Hamburg (including stops in Munich, Nuremberg and Frankfurt am Main Airport) and Düsseldorf (including stops in Munich, Nuremberg and Hanover) to Tyrol. Among other things, you can now also travel directly from Amsterdam and Brussels to the Hohe Salve holiday region in comfort by Nightjet.
You can also transport your car or motorbike. All information can be found on the ÖBB Nightjet website.
You can choose between three categories in the Nightjet:
Sleeping car (single, double, triple with washing facilities or deluxe variant with shower / WC, incl. breakfast).
Couchette car (4 to 6 couchette compartments, incl. breakfast)
In cooperation with seven Tyrolean destinations, it was already possible last winter to book the ski pass together with the return journey on the modern ÖBB night train fleet and the transfer from the station to the accommodation and back. The packages including rail travel, the 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-day ski pass and the transfer can now be booked for the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental ski area.
