International "Käsiade" cheese festival in Hopfgarten
A highlight for all cheese lovers in Hopfgarten in Brixental Valley
Every two years, Hopfgarten hosts the International "Käsiade" cheese festival. In addition to cheeses from countries such as Italy, France, the Netherlands and Austria, the high-carat expert jury also rates butter, curd cheese and cream cheese. The best dairy products make it onto the podium and are awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. Cheese lovers should not miss out on this event. In addition to the ratings and awards, the cheese specialties can also be tasted and bought directly on site. Matching wines are offered for tasting.
