Alpinolino Discovery Park

Mountain adventures in Westendorf

At Alpinolino Discovery Park, everything revolves around fun and exciting adventures. Set in a magnificent alpine landscape, the mountain theme park offers a range of hand-on, mystery solving activities. In keeping with the motto "play, explore and discover", the park has several discovery stations along the 1.5 km long Himmelsteig circuit on Choralpe mountain from the middle station into the valley, such as the Spoggolino Ball Run and the Holzwurmweg (Woodworm Trail). The discovery stations allow junior explorers to learn about alpine nature in a fun way. "Schlauberger", the Alpinolino mountain guide and Adler Bert, the eagle, accompany the children on their tour.

Alpinolino Westendorf

Himmelsteig & Spoggolino ball run. Mountains of fun. www.skiwelt.at/alpinolino.

The Himmelsteig (Sky Trail) starts just outside the Alpenrosenbahn mountain station in Westendorf. Adler Bert, the eagle, urgently needs your help! Marmota, the youngest member of the marmot family, has disappeared and no one knows where it went. Can you help Adler Bert solve the mystery? Follow Marmota's hidden paw prints and prepare for a surprise. Because if you look closely, you may even spot real marmots scurrying across the trail! The discovery stations along the trail take you up to the Guggenkögele summit. Upon reaching the summit cross, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the entire Brixental Valley.

The Himmelsteig is not particularly long, but is dotted with countless surprises and wonderful views. Here the kids just forget about time. And best of all: on the Himmelsteig, even the youngest guests have a chance to conquer a real mountain summit!. Once you have reached the Guggenkögele summit, you will find yourself standing proudly at 1,886 m above sea level, with a spectacular panoramic view for you to enjoy. Next to the summit cross, you'll find Adler Bert's home - he couldn't have found a nicer location for his nest. What do you think?
