The baths and lakes in Brixental Valley provide refreshing cooling off on hot summer days. Not only children and families delight in the cool waters when swimming in one of the region’s pools. The soothing, tingling sensation of fresh water on your skin is great relief for everyone.
The Brixen im Thale leisure complex is located approx. 700 meters on foot from the town center. In addition to the bathing lake, it offers a total of 3 swimming pools:
The area offers a beautiful swimming lake with a 1- and 3-meter diving tower, as well as a large sunbathing lawn for relaxing. A playground, a Kneipp pool, a beach volleyball court and a ping-pong table are additional recreational facilities. There is a restaurant with a terrace and a kiosk right by the lake. Thanks to its perfect location on the Brixen Valley Cycle Path, the resort is easily accessible by bike, and there are also several free parking spaces available for car drivers.

The cozy lakeside restaurant offers delicious food and refreshing drinks. The spacious sunbathing area with shady trees is the perfect place to relax and enjoy. Free parking is also available right by the lake.

The outdoor pool of Westendorf is only one kilometer away from the town center - since summer 2024 a modern meeting point for swimming fun and relaxation in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains.

The Schwarzsee in Kitzbühel is a moorland lake and offers a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser. The lake can be reached directly by public transport such as bus and train, the respective stops are only a few steps away from the lake. If you arrive by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available.
