Neue Bamberger Hütte

The area around the  Neue Bamberger Hütte as well as the location above the ree line offers a variety of hiking options so that a stay of seveal days is definitely worthwhile. The local mountain, the Schafsiedel, is very popular. Other popular destinations are the  Kröndlhorn, Tristkopf, Markkirchlein and the  Salzachgeier. All tours are well marked, easy and therefore also suited for families with children.Numerous idyllic lakes and ponds show the abundance of water in the Kitzbühel Alps.  

In the winter, ski tourers enjoy first-class touring opportunities. the mostly small height differences of a maximum of 700 metres and beautiful, flat slopes also make the area interesting for beginners and snowshoe hikers.

There is room for groups of 20 persons at most. Modern technical equipment (TV with laptop connection) for training available. The room is separated (own door) from the rest of the catering area, please make an extra reservation through the hut owner. Exams can also take place there.
